A Conversation with Artist-in-Residence Liz Flyntz

Free

Liz Flyntz is a Brooklyn-based curator, home chef, and Craigardan's Culinary Artist-in-Residence and Fellowship recipient.  While in residence, Liz is undertaking the food and consumption based portion of her research into how industrialized food and environmental degredation effect gender and the body.  She hopes to present an exhibition presenting these themes in 2018.  Join us in a conversation with Liz about hormone-mimicking and hormone-disrupting chemicals, the overconsumption of sugar and estrogenetic foods, and what all this means for us.

Join us in the Applebarn on Fridays for artist talks, guest lectures, residency presentations, roundtable discussions and engaging conversations on art, ecology, food, philosophy and more!
