Climate Change + Adaptive Food Culture with Artist-in-Residence, Jeff Mertz

A special collaborative dinner event with Jeff Mertz and chef Zachary Clemans.

Jeff Mertz is an interdisciplinary filmmaker, photographer, writer, and amateur chef whose work focuses on exploring emotional vernacular in multiple forms.  An irrefutable romantic, his artistic practice is dedicated to finding poetry, empathy, and redemption in the mundane.

This special event will be a combination of conversation and cuisine, as Jeff guides guests through his research and artwork using images and food.  His current project while in-residence is to examine and extrapolate the effects of climate change on adaptive food culture in the Adirondacks.

The talk begins at 5:30pm with dinner (outdoors) directly following.

Space will be limited and registration is necessary.  Email us for details:  info@craigardan.org
